Rocco Bognet founded Bognet Inc. in May of 1969 with the company’s primary focus being residential plumbing and heating projects. Within a year we were successfully completing commercial plumbing and HVAC projects. By 1973, Bognet Inc. began completing industrial mechanical projects on a much larger scale. In 1974, James G. Bognet P.E. joined his brother, Rocco, at Bognet Inc. to form the management team that is still in place today. Continued expansion throughout the 1970’s necessitated a move to a larger facility. In 1977, Bognet Inc. moved into a 35,000 square foot facility, which includes a 5,000 square foot pipe fabrication shop and a 4,000 square foot retail store. Our retail outlet offers a wide variety of products including pipe fittings, power tools, and various other hardware supplies. This facility, located on five acres of land on Route 924 in Humbolt adjacent to the Humbolt Industrial Park, remains Bognet Inc.’s current location.

During the latter part of the 1970’s, general construction projects were added to our already impressive resume. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Bognet Inc. continued to expand requiring the addition of several project managers and estimators. Currently, we employ seven project managers/estimators who are supported by an office staff of six.
